Check out the front page of the Business section in Edmonton Journal issue for Friday, October 3rd.  The Article headlines reads "City home sales Skyrocket in September."  The paper says that for the month of September the Edmonton real estate market bucked the national trend.  While the rest of Canada sagged, the number of homes sold in Edmonton nearly broke a record with 65.9 percent more September residential MLS sales than that of September 2007.  There was also a nice reduction in the amount of listings inventory on the market.  Hopefully, this will help lead the way to a balanced market of buyers and sellers.
